Wouldn't a little bug-reporting facility integrated into the ports tree be extremely useful? That's what send-pr(1) is for. Except send-pr isn't the right tool use for reporting bugs with ports. Uh,
hello? Your original report was against WFTPD Pro, and asserted that an old bug had not been fixed. The old bug was present in WFTPD and WFTPD Pro. Should I not have tested WFTPD also? Maybe I should note that users reporting bugs should give me enough information that I can quickly reproduce the bug.

So HOW do we report bugs?
If not, it's the experts job, and they'll mail a bug report to the kernel list. Note that "caring" is an idea introduced by you. I was talking about noticing. It's the kernel developers and maintainers who are interested in the bugs ,and they're interested in _getting_ bug reports, because that's the hard bit.

Reporting bugs in a specific module?
This is horrible bugreport. Kill "keywords". Putting "modules" into keywords i not going to help anyone. Having "4. Kernel version" and minuses before actuall version is not helpfull, either. "modules" as keyword, keywords in general: This is a suggestion from REPORTING-BUGS. Then REPORTING-BUGS should be changed.

Of course you do not have to report bugs in any way it pleases me, but if you like lcc please just make the small extra effort of sparing me this looking around. What is the current policy about reporting bugs in KDE from sid (like #216228)? Should Debian BTS or KDE BTS be used? It's somewhat more consistent to report these bugs using 'reportbug' tool, just like all other bugs on Debian system. But that means that reports will go to Debian BTS, not KDE BTS. Is that ok?
